30 Apr Rockhill Studios Feels the Love at Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
When we officially opened our studio doors to the public for our Grand Opening Event, we were met with nothing but love. Industry professionals as well as the business community turned out to nod in agreement that this area is in need of the proper infrastructure to sustain a digital media manufacturing industry in NWA.
Christopher Crane, the AR Film Commissioner said a few words in support of what Blake and Kerri Elder have done and continue to do for the AR film industry. Having shot two feature length films entirely in AR and having poured dollars into the community businesses as well as demonstrating how the states rebate program can be best utilized by hiring locals, it was nice to hear the positive impact Rockhill is already having on the local and state level.
We were also so blessed to have all the representation from the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce who has been incredibly supportive of our journey. Of course the large network or crew and talent who have been a part of our projects over the years painted such a nice picture of what we are trying to create.
